The purpose of Christian Education is the directing of the process of human development toward God’s objectives for man, godliness of character and action. It bends its efforts to the end “that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:17 KJV).
Matthew 6:23 indicates that – above all things in our lives, we should seek God, and everything else will be provided for us. Yes, education is important, but it should never come before your personal relationship with God.
Christian Education seeks to teach children and adults about the world God created, how our faith is woven into each area of learning, and how to find purpose and meaning through God’s Will for our life.
As Believers, we believe that only through an understanding of God, His Word, and His works, can we know His truth. Thereby, show His love to those in our lives.
Prayerfully, Bible base materials, planning, and adequate instructions will always encourage a comprehensive program of Christian Education at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
